As predicted here last week, the Vatican today confirmed that Archbishop Timothy Dolan of New York will be heading the Apostolic Visitation into Ireland's two pontifical seminaries.I'm hearing of some unpleasant and seriously flawed practices going on in the Pontifical Irish College in Rome, but am waiting to see if these can be substantiated.
No doubt all these issues will be fully addressed by Archbishop Dolan once he starts the investigation.
